The JV girls basketball team played the Terry Parker Braves on Nov. 29. The starters for the game were juniors Lauren Reichard and Mary McCarthy, sophomore Julie Meehan and freshmen Avriana Lundy and Rylie Muldoon.

The game started with Meehan getting the jump ball. Lundy took the first shot and made multiple layups in the first quarter, which contributed to the Crusaders 16-2 lead at the end of the 1st quarter.

The second quarter started with some new players, freshmen Gianna Coyle, Gracie Kuepper and Julia Marquez. It was a slow start for the Crusaders and by halftime, the score was 22-7 Crusaders.

The third quarter began with the same starters. With layups, jump shots, breakaways and a strong defense showing, the Crusaders finished the third quarter strong, making 24 points. They were up 46-9 by the end of the third quarter.

The final score of the game was 61-12, with the Crusaders taking home the win. They were led by Muldoon with 20 points and Lundy following closely with 16.

The Crusaders are back in action on Dec. 3 against Creekside at home.
