Retreatants had the opportunity to participate in sunrise rosary on Saturday and Sunday.

Twenty-eight freshmen and sophomores embarked on a spiritual retreat to deepen their faith on April 19, called ‘Quest’.

The retreat lasted three days and took place at Camp Chowenwaw in Fleming Island. Although the retreatants had to give up their phones for the weekend, they participated in a variety of activities every day, including fishing, group games and beach volleyball, while also taking part in a religious revival.

The theme of the retreat was Quest: For the Cure, where retreatants discovered that Jesus is the Divine Physician who will give the ultimate antidote, something that no doctor of this world is capable of.

Organized by religion teacher Mr. Gonzalez-Chavez and led by seniors Anna Bass, Alexis Graves and Reese Williams and junior Thomas Cratem. The weekend will become an annual event.
