The Art Department and Art Club held their first art gallery opening of the year on Friday,  September 17 before the Homecoming football game. Each art student had their own piece displayed in the gallery exhibiting their knowledge on design, value, and form. The event presented expression in black and white through these works, but a few colorful compositions were featured as well. All were welcome to stop by and view the art.

Junior Reagan Anderson explained the meaning behind the eye-catching piece she created.

“When I had this piece done, I was trying to figure out what my investigation was going to be for the year and so I wanted to look into religious themes and how they primarily affect women so I used it as a way to study the Garden of Eden and the judgment being cast down on women throughout the centuries from the beginning of time,” she said.
