Masks are now optional for students and faculty.

As of Monday, September 27, the Diocese of St. Augustine made the temporary policy of masks being optional for students and staff.

This policy was made due to the decrease in COVID-19 cases in Duval County.

Duval County’s current COVID-19 positivity rate is eight percent.

Students who decide that they would still like to wear a mask are able to continue doing so.

If a student or family member tests positive or is exposed to someone with COVID-19, that should still be reported to the Office of the Superintendent. Families will still be notified of every positive case within the school.

In regards to quarantine, students who are within three feet of someone who tested positive will be evaluated for close contact exposures.
