Welcome to Rockville, an all ages outdoor heavy metal concert, will take place at Metropolitan Park on Jacksonville, Fla. on May 3 through May 5, headlining bands such as Korn, Evanescence, and Bring Me The Horizon.

Created by Danny Wimmer, Welcome to Rockville has grown since its initial inception. In 2011, at least 25,000 rock fans attended while in 2017, approximately 75,000 attended, according to Ashton-Magnuson Media. The program has also expanded their ticket options, now offering VIP packages and bundles on sale on their website, welcometorockvillefestival.com.

This year, Welcome to Rockville opens on Friday, May 3 with Korn, Evanescence, and Chevelle headlining. May 4 brings more bands and singers such as Rob Zombie, Shinedown, and Judas Priest. Closing day, May 5, finishes with acts like Tool, Incubus, and Bring Me Horizon. The latter is particularly anticipated because lead singer Oliver Sykes lately healed from a ruptured vocal cord.
