Senioritis has been spreading all over Bishop Kenny, but senior Ashton Maccario “stays true to her hardworking personality.”
Maccario is part of National honor society, Spanish honor society, History honor society, Math honor society, English honor society, an Extraordinary Minister, Spanish club, Crusader Athlete for Christ, History club, and was a RISE leader for the past fall retreat.
Along with these clubs she is also taking three AP and two honor classes. After school, Maccario is involved in track and cross country. She has been running for four years.
“I like running because I get to run with my friends on the team. It allowed me to make life long friendships and its good exercise,” Maccario said.
Being involved in AP courses as well as balancing after school activities and nourishing friendships could be difficult some but not for Maccario.
“I manage everything by balancing priorities, making sure my schoolwork is done before I hang out with friends,” Maccario said.
Maccario plans on attending the University of Florida and major in dietetics or nutrition.
