The 2023-2024 Bishop Kenny Boys Varsity Soccer team currently has a record of 4 wins, 5 loses and 2 ties.

Since the beginning of the season, they have played in 9 games and scored a running total of 20 goal points.

Junior Shawn Selfors currently holds the season record for most goal points, at 6 points, and Senior Dani Baena has the most assist points so far at 6 points.

There are 11 seniors on the team this year, most of which have been playing soccer with Bishop Kenny since they were freshmen. The seniors on the team are Gavin Salomone (0), Conner Subjinski (2), Lachlan Allen (4), Mateo Rojas (5), Lukcus Alindada (8), Rodrigo Delgado (9), Eli Greene (10), Jackson Martin (11), Diego Calderon (12), Dani Baena (17) and Haydon Bray (18).

Anna Bass, Editor-in-Chief
Anna Bass is Editor-in-Chief of The Shield newspaper. She is a Student Ambassador and participates in many clubs and honor societies around campus, such as Anchor Club in which she serves as the secretary. Outside of school, she works as a lifeguard and nursery attendant at her local country club, as well as the assistant cheerleading coach for her grade school’s cheerleading team. When she isn’t at school or working, she enjoys watching sunsets, playing pickleball, hanging out with her friends and going to the beach.
