The week leading up to the Masters saw Tiger Woods’ name come up frequently due to his improving performance in the previous weeks’ golf events. Woods, who has won four green jackets and 14 total major championships, would be overshadowed, however, by his fellow countryman in Patrick Reed in the 2018 Masters. Reed finished with a total of 15 under par, which edged out Ricky Fowler’s score of 14 under par. Reed, known for his antics in college, is grateful to be able to achieve one of the highest honors in the sport.

“I’m just out here to play golf and try to win golf tournaments,” Reed said.

Reed will look on to the RBC Heritage event next week on the Harbour Town Golf Links course in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
