Elf Back in Theaters

Film celebrates 20th anniversary

The family favorite Warner Bros. film “Elf” will be returning back to theatres to celebrate its 20 anniversary. The film will air on November 17 at select theaters. The film has been remembered as a staple for the holiday season and has left a light hearted impact on many family’s.

“Elf” was first shown in theaters on November 7, 2003. The film stars Will Ferrell, who plays Buddy the Elf. It follows Buddy as he leaves the North Pole to meet his biological father in New York City. He realized his love for the Christmas spirit had skipped a few generations when he meets his real family.

Starting in December, “Elf” will stream on Max and Hulu, as well as on the AMC channel. If you plan to visit New York on December 3, 10 or 17, the film will be screened at the Empire State Building’s 80 floor. There will be complimentary snacks, drinks and candy at the Empire State those nights!

There will also be a life-sized Buddy on the 86 floor of the Empire State Building starting on November 10.
