Adjusting to high school is not always easy. Freshman Scarlett Gibbs on the other hand was ready to take on the challenge.
Gibbs expresses that the transition from middle school to high school is not as hard as it seems. After meeting the teachers and organizing herself, high school became an enjoyable place.
In between school and homework she is also a member of the Bishop Kenny Elite Dance Team. Gibbs has learned to balance her education and dance as the year continues.
Gibbs has an older sister, Aleah, who is also a member of the Bishop Kenny Elite Dance Team as well as a caption.
As the school year continues Gibbs thrives to live up to the expectation of Aleah’s achievements and successes. Aleah is a set role model for Gibbs and is someone she looks up to and values. She hopes to progress in dance like her sister and eventually Gibbs wants to become a caption for the Bishop Kenny Elite Dance Team.
“Aleah is my biggest role model.” Gibbs said. “I have always looked up to her as inspiration for my future.”
Gibbs will continue to work hard and is determined to make the most of her 4 years in highschool.
