With 19 years of teaching experience, Trena Dinsmore has made her way to classroom 703 at Bishop Kenny as a new college prep biology teacher.
After taking a break from teaching, Dinsmore decided to have a fresh start at a school her kids attended.
“[Bishop Kenny] has a great reputation,” Dinsmore states, “so I want to be a part of this great family.”
She has taught at public schools in Texas to Georgia, along with San Jose Catholic in Jacksonville.
While attending and later graduating Jacksonville University, Dinsmore had multiple doubts about what she wanted to major in. She started with marine biology, but later switch to math and then teaching.
As the new school year begins, the memories that follow also arise around campus, giving everyone a new opportunity to place down roots.
