So far the Winter Olympics has been very eventful for the United States and our representatives. Shaun White an Olympic snowboarder won United States’ one hundredth gold medal in the men’s snowboard halfpipe. We also won our first gold medal thanks to seventeen year old Redmond Gerard, who competed in the men’s slopestyle snowboard. The Winter Olympics seems like it is going to be a good chance for the United States to have more gold medals under their belt.
