Sweater Drive

Anchor Club holds sweater drive

Sweater+Drive

The Anchor Club is holding a sweater drive for the whole month of November. Students can drop off contributions to Ms. Merrill’s room, 408. Gently used sweaters, jackets and blankets will be further donated to the 21 annual Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive.

The drive honors the memory of Fred Rodgers supported by businesses around Jacksonville.

Junior President of Anchor Club Emily Rrukaj said “I think this drive is a really good thing we are doing in support of nonprofits and the homeless in Jacksonville.”

Sophia Gredenhag is a Junior Staff Reporter for the Shield. Sophia is a part of many clubs at Bishop Kenny including Interact Club, Latin Club, History Club, Environmental Club and Crusader Vision. She is currently on the golf team. Outside of school, Sophia enjoys going to the beach, shopping and traveling.
