Homemade Lemonade

Ingredients:
1 cup lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
zest of 2 lemons
⅔ cup sugar
8 cups water
- Zest 2 lemons and set aside
- Juice 6 lemons, or until you get 1 cup of juice
- Pour 3 cups of water, the lemon zest, and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil stirring occasionally
- Strain lemon juice and pour into a pitcher
- Strain the lemon zest, simple syrup mixture, and add to the pitcher
- Fill the picture with the remainder of the water and chill
