In the wake of corona virus spreading to the United States, Bishop Kenny has canceled overnight club events. As of Mar. 12 morning, Bishop Kenny students will not be attending the State Science Fair in Lakland, FL, the annual BK NJROTC spring trip to Atlanta, GA and the State Thespian Competition in Tampa, FL.
The latest event for BK admin to cancel is the State Thespian Competition for the BK Theatre Troop 2411 earlier this morning. This cancellation was after the Bolles School announced they would add a week to their spring break to prepare for further action, the NBA cancelled the 2019-2020 professional basketball season and the Coronavirus Travel Ban extending to countries in Europe.
