The Grammys are a prestigious award ceremony that celebrates music artists for their achievements in the music industry that year. Famous for its red carpet, artists wear designer brands such as Versace or Vivienne Westwood.
One of the best looks from the night came from Sabrina Carpenter, dressing in a powdery blue silk dress by JW Anderson. The dress had an incredibly show-stopping element, a neckline turned into a necklace that descended her back. The beautiful artist went on to win two Grammys awards throughout the night in Pop Vocal Album and Pop Solo Performance.
Another amazing look came from Taylor Swift. Wearing a short red dress by Vivienne Westwood, she took the red carpet by storm. But the main jaw-dropping element of the outfit was the body chain on her thigh. Designed by Lorraine Schwartz and Taylor Swift herself, it held 11 red heart stones followed by a pink “T” hanging below it. Swift was nominated for six Grammys and while she did walk away empty-handed, it did seem like she was having fun in the audience.
But what were some of the worst outfits of the night? Outfits that made you stop and wonder, “Why would you even wear that?” or “Your designer needs to be fired.”
Unfortunately, there were some duds among the greats.
One of the worst outfits of the night was from Bianca Censori who showed up wearing nothing. Arriving with her husband, Kanye West, Censori had a long fur coat on, but when she arrived at the red carpet she took off the coat to reveal that she was naked. Censori and West were later kicked out of the Grammys for showing up without an invitation.
Another one of the worst outfits came from Jaden Smith, Will and Jada Smith’s son, wearing a black suit with a castle on his head. The supposed hat was extremely elaborate and seemed to block people’s views when they were trying to watch the show.
Whether you are a country fanatic or are more into pop, everyone can agree that the Grammy’s red carpet is a statement in music history.
