On September 12, 2024 at 7 PM the rivalry matchup began, Bolles made a quick jump to start by winning the first set and advanced again to win the second set. Going into the third set the girls knew they had to come together and get the win.

“We knew we had to win for each other and for Winkler, and that really pushed us through and to the win,” Senior Olivia Ryno said, when asked about what motivated them to win the match.

Kenny then moved on to win the next three sets to ultimately defeat Bolles.

Some highlights from the game were Senior Olivia Ryno with 19 kills and 5 spikes, Junior Alexis Sowers with 19 digs, and Senior Caroline Snyder with 23 ball handling assists.

The Bishop Kenny Girls Volleyball team now holds a record of 8-2 and hope to only grow stronger as a team as their season progresses.
