Club Fair was held in the cafeteria on Aug 21. 2024 during all lunch mods.
A table with different clubs was displayed for students to learn more about extracurriculars and programs that they can get involved in around Bishop Kenny.
Fliers were distributed from all of the different clubs that Kenny offers. The fliers include qualifications, meeting schedules, enrollment deadlines and activities that the clubs offer.
Students were able to learn more and sign up for clubs for this school year. Club fair is especially important for the underclassmen because it is an opportunity to meet new friends, get involved, and reach the requirement for service hours.
Sophomore Hayden Bloom went to the club fair to learn more about how to get involved around school and shares his experience.
“The club fair was easy to find all the different clubs. The clubs that were similar were near each other,” Bloom said.
He is planning to join Crusader Vision and Crusader Athletes for Christ this year.
Not only were clubs displayed, but the newest international travel opportunity was also on display as a flier to grab. Juniors and seniors cannot sign up for this international trip to London because it is during the summer of 2026. Sign ups are still open to all sophomores and freshmen.
Although Club Fair is only for one day, there are fliers throughout hallways and classrooms that cover the same information that Club Fair did. It is important to get involved now because it can improve your future applications and resume later.
