During Catholic Schools Week, Bishop Kenny visited San Juan del Rio, Holy Family and San Jose on Jan. 29, St. Paul Riverside, Guardian, St Patrick and St. Michael on Jan. 30, and St. Paul Beach, Palmer and Holy Spirit on Feb. 1 to recruit students to attend the 2024-25 school year.

The Cheer team, Band, Elite Dance team and NJROTC Color Guard and Drone team each showed off their talents, then talked about who they are, what the school is like and answered any questions asked.

This presentation gave rising freshmen the opportunity to learn more about the school and the different extracurricular activities it has to offer to new students.

Sami Whitney is the Development Manager for The Shield. On campus, she is a member of Anchor Club, ACE, NJROTC, National Spanish Honor Society and National English Honor Society. When she isn’t in the classroom, she enjoys spending her time reading, volunteering and hanging out with friends.
