Boys soccer defeats Stanton

Bishop Kenny hosted boy’s soccer senior night against Stanton, on Jan. 17. There was a short ceremony held before the game in which seniors walked across the field with their parents as their names, college plans and favorite team memories were announced.

The game was a win for the Crusaders, with the score ending up to be 2-1. Seniors Carson Cope and Haydon Bray each scored one goal.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024 and go BK!

Anna Bass is a Junior Staff Reporter for The Shield Newspaper. She is a member of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Medical Career Club, Student Ambassadors, Spanish Honor Society, and is the secretary for the Anchor Club. After school, she can be found working in the child care facility at a local country club, babysitting and being the assistant cheer coach at her elementary school. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog on walks, going on her boat with her family and hanging out with friends at the beach.
