Bake sale, trivia activities planned to engage students

German Club Celebrates National German Week

The German Club will celebrate National German Week by having a bake sale on Friday, daily German trivia questions and praying the school-wide morning prayer in German.

Club members will bring German baked goods which will be available for purchase during lunch in the cafeteria on Friday.

German Club president Juliet Daron expresses that she is “very excited” for the bake sale, as it will be the first one the club has ever had. The members and faculty sponsor Carol Hollen came up with this event in an effort to be more involved with the student body, according to Daron.

Sophia Gredenhag is the senior Social Media Editor for The Shield. Sophia is a part of many clubs at Bishop Kenny including Interact Club, Latin Club, History Club and Environmental Club. She is currently on the golf team. Outside of school, Sophia enjoys going to the beach, shopping, traveling and hanging out with friends.
