The girls volleyball team expresses happiness as they just won against Ponte Vedra for the first time in seven years.

On August 23, the Bishop Kenny volleyball team beat Ponte Vedra for the first time in seven years.

The first set went to Bishop Kenny with a score of 26-24. Keeping up their momentum, the girls pulled through once again with a score of 25-18 in the second set and a score of 25-19 in the third set.

The volleyball team stepped off the court with a historical win.

Madison Bolen is co Editor-in-Chief of The Shield. She is involved in many different clubs, such as St. Vincent de Paul, Interact Club and Spanish Club. She is also the captain of the varsity tennis team, and loves to compete against her friends. Outside of school, Madison loves to play different sports, go to the beach and have fun with friends.
