Following the release of Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” album on Oct. 21, 2022, she has just announced her U.S. tour.

“I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present),” Swift wrote in her announcing Instagram post.

The last time Swift went on a U.S. tour was in 2018 to showcase her “Reputation” album. Since then, Swift has re-released “Red” and “Fearless” as her own and “Lover,” “Folklore” and “Evermore.”

The tour aims to start on Mar. 18 in Glendale, AZ and ends on Aug. 5 in Los Angeles, CA. On tour with her will be Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, Girl in Red, Haim, Gayle and others.

“Feeling like the luckiest person alive because I get to take these brilliant artists out on tour with me,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post.

Fans have speculated about the meaning behind Swift calling it an “Eras” tour and her description of the tour, including one fan theory that Swift will be re-releasing her other four albums over the course of the four months before the tour starts.

Regardless of what will happen with Swift and her releases, Swift herself admitted that “it’s been a long time coming.”
