Harry Potter film star, Robbie Coltrane, died at the age of 72. Coltrane played Hagrid in Harry Potter and was seen as a big guy with a big heart. Many of the stars from the Harry Potter films are speaking on this death.

 “Robbie was one of the funniest people I’ve met,” said Daniel Radcliffe. “Robbie, if I ever get to be so kind as you were to me on a film set I promise I’ll do it in your name and memory” said Harry Potter star Emma Watson.

The author of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling, tweeted that she will miss Coltrane and that he had incredible talent. Coltrane’s final appearance with the cast of Harry Potter was in January of 2022 on the 20th anniversary reunion specialty release on HBO Max. Robbie knew that he was not immortal “I’ll not be here, sadly. But Hagrid will,” said Coltrane on the reunion.

It is obvious that the beloved actor was admired by most of his cast mates and the producers. He will forever be remembered as people rewatch the Harry Potter movies.
