Lady Crusaders defeat Wolfson Wolfpack 5-1

On Nov. 17 the Bishop Kenny Crusaders offense defeated the Wolfson Wolfpack defense.
The Girls Varsity Soccer team, coached by Tom Devenny, made a leading win 5-1 against the Wolfson Wolfpack.
During the two 40 minute halves, the Crusaders managed to hold off the Wolfpacks to just once goal. Scoring the goal in the first half, Crusader defence continued to hold off the Wolfpack offense the entire second half.
The Crusaders scored three goals in the first half and two goals in the second.
The Shield’s own Junior Grace Hayag scored the first goal of the game around the 33 minute mark. The second goal was scored by Mackenna Gregory around the eight minute mark in the first quarter. The last goal of the quarter was scored by Hannah Schnellbacker around the four minute mark.
In the second half, Mackenna Gregory scored out fourth goal around the 28 minute mark. Our final goal was scored  at the eight minute and 30 seconds mark.
With the 5-1 Crusaders score, this was the fourth win of the season.
