Many conspiracy theories surround Luigi Mangione, who has been accused and indicted in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO, Brian Thompson.
To start out, the number 286 has been flagged multiple times throughout this case. On Mangione’s personal X account, an image of the 286th Pokémon by the name of Breloom is showcased. At the time of Mangione’s arrest, he had posted exactly 286 times on X.
Health code 286 is also referenced as a denial code and is used when the appeal time limits for a claim have not been met. Another photo featured on Mangione’s X page is an X-Ray image of his spine with 4 screws from his spinal surgery. It is speculated that this surgery costed him a lot of money that he could not get insurance for because of health code 286.
5 days after the Dec 4 murder, Mangione was found in Pennsylvania. Why is this significant? He was found exactly 286 miles from the murder scene. Mangione fled from New York to Pennsylvania on Highway 286.
There is also a bible verse, Proverbs 28:6 which reads, “Better the poor whose walk is blameless than the rich whose ways are perverse.” The significance? Brian Thomas was overtly wealthy.
A backpack believed to belong to Mangione was found by Police in Manhattan’s Central Park. The contents of this backpack? Monopoly money. According to People Magazine. On one side of the monopoly board, a player goes from New York, to Pennsylvania, to jail.
There is a saying related to the game that states, “You never play monopoly alone.” So now, police are searching for someone else involved in the murder and the public has named this second suspect, Mario.
