Senior now holds the record for javelin

Senior Nick Rukab broke the standing BK record for the 8 foot Javelin.
He now holds the highest throw of 144ft 4 inches.
Rukab has been a varsity track and feild javelin thrower for BK for two years, “starting to throw javelin and track practice helped my football [skills],” Rukab says. Correlating the strength and training from football and endurance from track enhanced Rukab’s throwing ability for javelin.
After, breaking the record for BK, Rukab says “it feels pretty cool to hold a record.”
