The annual Thanksgiving Food Drive has started! Boxes were delivered to teachers’ classrooms on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

These empty boxes each have a label of a certain type of food. This can be anything from stuffing to canned yams to green beans.

Students are asked to see what boxes are in their teachers’ classrooms and bring in the respective items. As an incentive, some teachers even offer homework passes for students who bring in a certain number of items.

On Tuesday, Nov. 24, students in St. Vincent de Paul Society will go around and collect the filled boxes. The boxes will be organized and sent to needy families in our diocese.
