The United States Air Show flies again
November 14, 2018
The United States Naval Air Station’s airshow visited Jacksonville on October 27 and 28 2018.
At the NAS airshow many different planes perform annually. Such as, the Eagle 580, F 15Cs, L-39s and many others. The Navy Blue Angels are the finale of the show. The Blue Angels team was created in 1946, which makes it the second oldest formal flying aerobic team in the world.
“The mission of the Blue Angels is to showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.” blueangels.navy.mil said.
The Blue Angels Team consists of 17 members. The NAS Airshow comes to Jacksonville every year. The location alternates between Jacksonville beach and the naval base.
