The bishop Kenny history club visited Stanton high school to discuss current events.

    The Times Up movement has taken the entertainment world by storm. The movement forces people to discuss how women are constantly being sexually harassed in the workplace. It also discusses how women are not paid as much as men for doing the same amount of work if not more. Women have historically been thought of as less than men. Women have been categorized as nurses, stay at home moms, maids and many other demeaning jobs. The Stanton round table discussion was about how the high school generation now can keep the movement strong and continue to shape the future for themselves. Many students in high school know somebody or of somebody who was sexually harassed either by a pier or a family member. These students wish to create a better future for themselves and their children.
