Lenten Drive

The Bishop Kenny students and faculty are having a Lenten Sacrificial Drive which has started on Ash Wednesday and will end on March 28.

Following the tradition of past years, BK has chosen a specific group to donate these collected items to. This year, the group which has been chosen to receive the donation is the Cenacolo Community which is located within our very own diocese. The Cenacolo Community has visited the BK Campus numerous times throughout the years and has given witnesses to all grades. Each grade has been assigned a specific type of product and is asked to deliver them to their religion classes. The Freshman class has been asked to collect paper products including paper towels, Kleenex, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. The Sophomore class has been asked to bring different cleaning products such as Clorox wipes, Windex, Lysol products, etc. The Junior class has been asked to bring in non perishable food items such as cereal, pancake mix, canned goods, pasta, etc. Lastly, the Senior class as been asked to bring in personal hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, band aids, conditioner, etc. The Bishop Kenny community thanks everyone in advance for showing their generosity to this deserving community.
