Called To Serve

Campus Ministry welcomes a new set a fresh faces

Franchesca Peralta | Arts and Entertainment Editor

The Bishop Kenny High School Campus Ministry invited all Confirmed 11th graders to become Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion for the 2018-2019 school year. As EMs, the Junior students will be serving communion to the students and faculty of BK during morning and school wide masses as well as be encouraged to serve at their own parishes. The students who expressed their interest in becoming Eucharistic Ministers turned in two teacher recommendations, a signed paper from their pastor, a certificate of their Confirmation and a paragraph explaining why they wanted to become a Eucharistic Minister. The Junior students will soon begin their training and will be initiated as being able to serve in May.
