Drake’s new album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ dropped on September 3, and fans have many mixed emotions. This is Drake’s sixth studio album released. He has been hyping this album up since August 2020. Drake made this announcement on August 30 by posting a picture of 12 pregnant mom emojis with the caption “CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3.” The 12 pregnant mothers was the album’s cover. Certified Lover Boy features 15 artists, which is more than any of Drake’s other albums. Some of these artists include Jay-Z, Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage and Lil Baby. Fans were also surprised to see how Kanye West’s album, Donda, was dropped around the same time as Certified Lover Boy. Drake dissed West in Tripple Redd’s new album ‘Betrayal,’ and West followed up by posting Drake’s address on Instagram, but deleted it soon after posting. The two have been at it since. Certified Lover Boy starts off with Drake singing to a woman who is listening to other things, but it turns into rap. The tone of Drake’s rapping makes him seem angry and frustrated. People are saying that this album might be the beginning of the end of Drake’s era, and he will shift his focus on pop music.
