Celebrities bribe colleges into accepting children.

Celebrities Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman face possible jail time after they are accused of cheating their children into elite schools. Loughlin and husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly bribed University of Southern California with $500,000 to make is appear like their daughters were a part of the school’s crew team. Huffman and her husband allegedly payed a large sum of money to boost their daughter’s SAT scores.

          Loughlin was released on a one million dollar bail and has been suffering consequences. Hallmark and Netflix cut ties with Loughlin and her influencer daughter, Olivia Jade, has been feeling the effects as well. Sephora and Tresemme have cut partnerships with Olivia. Olivia has received backlash from comments she made in videos about only being at college to party.

          Loughlin and Huffman are among over 50 other celebrities to be caught in the college bribery scheme. Loughlin was realeased on a $1,000,000 bail and Huffman was released on $250,000 bail. Both face up to five years in jail for their actions.
